“As a result of some serious health issues, I was late with my rent for several months. SALT asked me to come in and explain what was going on in my life that was leading to my late payments. After telling them about my health issues, SALT extended me a lot of grace and understanding helping me get to a point where I could remain in my home and move forward. I am a single mother with five children and without SALT’s willingness to help, I might have lost my home and been unable to take care of my health and my family. SALT’s understanding and compassion for me when I truly needed it is something I will never forget.”
